User Identities:
JigBoxx employs a system of user identity profiling to track our best customers. But
inclusion in this system is not essential to shop at JigBoxx. It is here to reward
frequent puzzle buyers with a simplified and "breezier" shopping experience at JigBoxx,
as well as discounts and the opportunity to give approval reviews (stars) on their
purchases for the benefit of other consumers. No pressure will be put upon those who
choose not to join.
Members must be logged into the system during each visit to enjoy these benefits. We do
not use "cookies" or other intrusive devices to detect your presence but instead
rely upon you to announce your arrival. The login is just your e-mail address and
the password is a short word you pick for yourself. If you should forget your password,
it can be e-mailed to you at your login e-mail address.
If you change your e-mail address and then subsequently forget your password, write to us
at (admin@jigboxx.com) and let us know. We'll ask
you a few questions to verify that you are who you say you are and then sort it out. These
things happen!
There is an Edit feature for the user accounts which will let you modify any detail
associated with your identity: login, password, address, telephone number, etc.
We collect four kinds of information with each account. All user details are held in
strict confidence in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These are the detail groups:
- Shipping Details
- Contact Points
- User Preferences
- Demographics
The Shipping Details and Contact Points are collected and kept to simplify the shopping process.
Since you are known to the system, there is no need to request these details with each and every
purchase. Also, we permit our members to redirect their purchase to be shipped to a third party
(as for a gift) because we can extend to them that extra level of trust.
User Preferences, by which we mean language and
currency, are used to provide shoppers with more familiar
surroundings.
Demographic details are used to help us better understand what our average customers look
like and how they live, which help us in turn to choose more desirable puzzles for our
inventory and tell us where to go looking for still more customers in future.
