JigBoxx Points:
JigBoxx uses a "club card" system to give discounts on puzzles for our best customers.
Each puzzle brings with it one, two or three points, depending on size and quality and
price. Examples: a 1500pc standard puzzle from Nathan or SunsOut is worth one point, but
a metallic or velvet puzzle of only 1000pcs is worth two points because it is so much more
expensive to buy. New members get two free points just for signing up.
There is space for seven points on a card and the club card is displayed on the user
homepage at login time. An example of a full card is displayed here at right. Filling
up the card requires spelling out "J-I-G-B-O-X-X" (seven letters for seven points). You
are not required to redeem the card as soon as it is filled. JigBoxx allows you
to fill up to three cards before redemption of at least one card is required.
Each filled card is good for one point in free puzzles. In other words, with one filled
card, you can claim any puzzle for free that is worth one point to buy. With two filled
cards together, you can claim for free any puzzle that is worth two points to buy. With
the maximum of three filled cards together, you can claim for free any puzzle that is worth
three points to buy. In fact, with three filled cards, you can take either three puzzles
worth just one point each, or one puzzle for two points and another puzzle for one point,
or one big puzzle for three points.
There are a few further rules on this: the free puzzles cannot themselves contribute any
points to your next card; the free puzzles cannot be claimed in the purchase in which
the card is filled but must wait until the next purchase; shipping is never free
and must be covered even on the delivery of free puzzles.
