[Jigsaw Puzzle from Ricordi Arte entitled Restaurant de la Sirene by Vincent van Gogh]
Restaurant de la Sirene
by Vincent van Gogh
2000-pc jigsaw puzzle for US$ 40.00

NEW ITEM!
This very difficult puzzle depicts an old restaurant and artsy meeting place and watering hole with deep verandahs and open-air tables. An adjacent inn offers rooms for the night ("salons pour noces"). These were situated in Asnières, a suburb of Paris. Van Gogh used many brush strokes in conflicting colours to represent the bricks and the window shutters, while the railings of the verandahs, with their rungs going perpendicular, lend the scene its great texture.
